1 GENERAL VAPE | QUESTIONS
1.1 HOW MUCH DOES "X' ITEM COST?
You are welcome to give us a call however we can not verify your age we are unable to discuss price or details pertaining to vaping and its products over the phone.

1.2 CAN I FLY WITH MY VAPE AND E-LIQUID?
Yes you can. E-juice is treated like any other liquid at you would bring on your flights.
External batteries must be pulled out and stored safely on your carry on.
Built-in batteries must also be stored on your carry on.
Make sure you have no e-liquid in your tank/pod as the cabin air pressure might cause your unit to leak.

1.3 WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SALT AND FREEBASE NICOTINE?
SALT NICOTINE:
- Available in the highest nicotine strengths.
- Optimal for New Vapers looking for alternative harm-reduction and mixed users.
- Can achieve cigarette like nicotine hit with less e-liquid to help achieve smoking cessation.
- Works best with lower power wattage devices
- Often used with smaller devices.
FREEBASE NICOTINE:
- Maximum flavour complexity.
- Larger cloud production.
- Suits both direct-to-lung and mouth-to-lung vaping techniques.
- Often less expensive by volume.
- More consistent delivery of nicotine
- Available in the lowest nicotine strengths though can be just as effective as a result of its delivery system.
- Optimal for Vapers who would like to transition to lower nicotine or who would like to quit all together.
- Works best with higher power wattage devices for most effective vape performance
1.4 WHY IS MY VAPE LEAKING?
There are many reasons why your vape or vape tank might be leaking.
First, when you over-fill or spill the e-juice into the chimney, this can cause leakage or gurgling.
Also, when you keep or carry the vape in a horizontal position for a long time, the e-juice can leak out of the airflow holes.
A faulty or old vape coil can cause the tank to leak from the airflow holes too.
If the O-ring on the tank is ripped, this can cause your vape to leak.
To prevent these, you should regularly maintain the vape tank by cleaning in cold water and drying overnight.
TIPS & TRICKS:
If and when your device leaks ensure you take a moment to effectively clean the device and its working mechanisms so they continue to do so. You can use paper towel or a q-tip to get thoroughly inside the components.
Ensure you have properly inserted your coil into the pod or tank.
Remove the pod or tank when charging device.
1.5 IS VAPING HEALTHIER THAN SMOKING?
Based on your personal goals it is highly recommended to do your own research to come to an educated and comfortable decision for yourself and desired achievements.

1.6 HOW LONG DO COILS LAST?
On average a coil should last you 2-3 week, it also depends on the type of e-liquid you are vaping and how hard you vape.
Some e-liquids contain more sweetener than others. Sweetener tends to caramelize the coils a lot quicker resulting in burning out the coil.
TIPS & TRICKS:
It is recommended to prime your coil before use. Meaning once you have assembled a fresh coils inside your pod or tank, add the e-liquid of your choice and let it sit and absorb for 2-5 minutes depending on the size of device. You may need to add additional e-juice throughout priming or at the end.

1.7 CAN I HAVE FLAVOURED E-LIQUID OR IS THERE ONLY TOBACCO FLAVOURING?
Not at all! You can vape a wide range of flavours which are highly regulated via the Canadian government and other governing agencies.

1.8 DO DEVICES REALLY BLOW UP? ARE THEY DANGEROUS?
No, most devices that you see and buy at shops will be regulated mods, so if anything wrong happens internally the devices circuits and chips will not allow the device to fire, until you find out the problem and find a solution.
The devices that have often been associated with blowing up are called mech mods which have no regulation and should not be sold. Those unfortunate incidents were caused by not knowing how the device functions and not knowing Ohm's Law. Knowing the basics of how everything works is important.
Pay extra attention to Battery Safety!
1.9 WHAT IS OHM'S LAW?
Ohm's Law is your first line of defence to battery safety.
Ohms law is used to calculate current, voltage and resistance in any circuit. Your own vape is, indeed, an electric circuit that functions like any other and your personal device probably has variable settings that allow you to adjust each of these aspects individually. By having a good understanding of Ohms law, you can also learn about power and wattage, which is the most common way to measure your vape’s performance. Other than performance, knowledge of Ohm’s law can also help you understand vaping safety, and avoid any hazardous actions.
TIPS & TRICKS:
Remove the pod or tank when charging device.
"PARTNER" or "MARRY" sets of batteries for Dual Battery Mods, so the same two are always being used together. Use battery wraps to keep them organized.
1.10 WHY HAS MY E-JUICE CHANGES COLOUR?
The main reason for the e-liquid colour change is a process caused by oxidation; the gain of oxygen by a substance.
When nicotine containing e-liquid is stored at room temperature, the combination of light and air will cause the liquid to darken over a period of time. The darker the juice the more steeped it is. There is no need for concern as this is common amongst many products that are retailed such as shampoos and lotions.

2.1 DISCLAIMER

2.2 CAN I MAKE A CUSTOM ORDER?
Yes you can, come into the store during business hours or give us a call. We can take the item in question, your name, phone number and email including a 50% deposit toward the device. This will require you to open a Customer Account to which we will apply that credit to your name with the same information needed for the custom order. The deposit will be housed there until your items arrive. We will contact you once the shipment arrives for pickup or if chosen or needed by post (additional fees may apply). Once you are available for pickup the deposit will be added directly to the cost of the purchase and you can complete your transaction. If for any reason Fluid Vape is unable to fulfill the order we can give you the complete total of deposit or you can maintain the credit and use in store for future purchases.
